Unusual design motif, likely early, based on the presence of Aubergine and geometric primitive cloud band design fills between the medallions. Unusual intricate reciprocating pawn motif inner and outer border, with main border comprised of meandering vine arabesque and floral blossom design drawn with artistic merit. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, navy blue, cobalt blue, madder root red, deep blush, saffron yellow, aubergine, ivory, oxidized copper green, chocolate brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Mostly secure sides and ends. Some areas of older repair.
